SINGAPORE - Actress Fiona Xie is one of Singaporeans' most desired travel
companions, according to a recent survey conducted by Hotels.com to find out
travellers' bunking preferences.
The Plus One survey asked travellers for their thoughts on the ideal hotel
roommate. Over 5,000 respondents from 27 countries were surveyed in total.
When Singaporeans were asked which celebrity they wanted most to share a
room with, 12 per cent of them picked local starlet Fiona Xie.
A majority of 16 per cent wanted to share a room with actress Maggie Q,
making her the No. 1 hot favourite. She is the only Hong Kong star represented
in the list.
Local actor Pierre Png is the most desirable male hotel room companion,
according to Hotels.com.
With the exception of movie star Angelina Jolie, popular Hollywood stars
such as Ryan Gosling and Robert Downey Jr. did not make it to Singaporeans’ top
10 list of celebrity hotel roommates.
