Lego fans can start planning a trip to Legoland California as the world's
first ever Lego Hotel is almost complete.
The three-storey, 250-room hotel in Carlsbad will open on April 5.
The hotel will feature over 3,400 Lego models throughout the premises, built
from over 3 million bricks in total.
As guests enter the compound, they will be greeted by a Lego dragon guarding
the entrance to the hotel.
But thankfully, the beds are not made from bricks.
Guests can choose from three types of rooms: the Pirate, Kingdom or
Adventure room.
The make-up of rooms are ideal for families are they come with two separate
sleeping areas - a queen-sized bed for adults and bunk beds for kids. The
children's section even comes with its own TV console.
Families who check-in to the hotel also have exclusive early admission into
the theme park.
