Airports in the west are simply bus stations! Of course there is no service there. People don't go to the airports to shop, relax, have a drink. Especially, now with online checkin, people will arrive at the airport as late as they can, hoping to simply, get out of their car, into the airport, through security and right onto their aircraft. When they deplane they want to go swiftly through baggage claim (if they have bags) and on to their cars and to their business meeting or vacation spot or to their families.
Unlike Singapore where people will come 2-3 hours in advance and shop and talk and laze around and relax. So there is no need to have any special facilities in western airports. There is not call for them. No one is going to use those facilities.
It is simply a functioning terminal where planes land to unload and pick up passengers!!

Contradictorily, what does a country with the worst airport in the world has to offer when they cannot even managed their airport?
