This is really abhorant & disgusting. It is barbaric. This blood-thirsty act shows how low humans can deteriorate. Why is this carnage allowed by the authorities? Something must be wrong with either the beliefs and/or the government.

This is not accepted as the mainstream part of Hinduism, they are referred to as worship in the mode of ignorance. According to Vedic's injunctions, civilized human life means no meat eating and respect for all living entities as they are considered to be all parts and parcels to the Supreme. This kind of animal sacrifice are tribal/ritual practice in remote regions of the India/Nepal and are mistaken to be part of the Hindu Culture.. It's was never part of it, but was incorporated into it throughout the ages, due to the degradation of the moral standards and values of this Iron Age known as Kali Yuga.. It was a common belief that some people will not be able to give up their habit of meat eating, because of their lower mode of consciousness (or spiritual realization), that's why some concessions were made for me so that they can conduct animal sacrifice (once a month) and at same time regulating their meat eating habit. Hindu Culture, or more precisely the Sanatana Dharma Culture (religion of the eternal spiritual soul) means to adhere to the following 4 principles: 1. No meat eating 2. No illicit sex 3. No Gambling 4. No intoxication. As long as we are not adhering to these 4 principles, by Vedic Standard, we are not accepted as civilized beings. By embracing vegetarianism we are also embracing the Universal Brotherhood of all living creatures on earth and accept them as parts and parcels of the Supreme Spirit. Jai Ho !
