Las Vegas Sands, the world's most valuable casino firm, expects to recoup its US$5.5 billion investment in its Marina Bay Sands casino in Singapore within five years, CEO Sheldon Adelson said during the Marina IR's opening.

During the soft opening of Marina Bay Sands on Tuesday, the CEO of Las Vegas Sands, Mr Sheldon Adelson, said he expects the Marina IR casino to break even in just five years. Will it be able to do so? We take a look at Singapore's 2nd casino in photos.

The approved gaming area at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is 15,000 square meters, comprising less than 3 percent of the integrated resort’s gross floor area.

In total it will have almost 500 table games and 1,600 slot machines, says MBS.

The casino is spread over four levels, and is able to accommodate up to 15,000 people. A non-smoking floor is at level 1, while the upper 2 levels are reserved for premium players.

It is a pity, such a grand casino and one can't find a place to buy a cup of coffee in the casino. Gamblers will die of thirst waiting for the free drink trolley.

Why theres no Csino in Japan at all ? Didnt there people are more wealthy then in South East Asia .Whay this Gambling Centre located in the poor area like South East Asia ? Let say Singapore is the richest among South East Asia Country , but what the rest ? The people are still fight and strugle for the basic needs..Hopefully this gambling place wont cause hazardous to South East Asian People , where the corruptors coming to spend their illegal earned money...
