Halloween is traditionally a festivity orginating from the West, but Singapore
has caught on and tourist attractions here are cashing in and spook events get
bigger each year. While the Night Safari pulled the plug in Sept on its yearly
Halloween event, there are still plenty of options for thrill-seekers ranging
from haunted houses to those that claim it is really haunted. We give you a
round-up of the creepiest places in Singapore and around the region. (Note:
This is not for the faint-hearted.)
FRIGHTFEST@ SINGAPORE FLYER: The rainforest situated at the centre of the Flyer
will be transformed into an eerie hideout where Asian ghosts lurk in the dark
from Oct 28-30.
FRIGHTFEST@SINGAPORE FLYER: The Chinese ‘Gui’, Japanese ‘Yurei’ and Malay
‘Hantus’ will haunt you and the only way of escape is to enter one of the
Flyer's capsules where you'll be safe.
FRIGHTFEST@ SINGAPORE FLYER: As you disembark, be careful of the lingering
ghosts as they might stalk you or pounce on you.
FRIGHTFEST@ SINGAPORE FLYER: Perhaps, one way to camouflage your fears is to
play dress up as well!

SENTOSA SPOOKTACULAR: It's creeps galore on Sentosa Spootacular's Deadly Lesson
trail held at the Sentosa Nature Discovery. This year, there are six trails -
two more than last year - to cater to a bigger Halloween crowd.
SENTOSA SPOOKTACULAR: There's room for everyone in the niche Halloween market.
Those on the Legendary Courts of Hell trail (held at the Images of Singapore)
may just bump into this bloody man.
