Mr Lee Kuan Yew was given a tour of the Flower Dome - one of the three sections
in the Gardens by the Bay project - on Nov 14. Singapore's former prime
minister said he was certain that Singaporeans will grow to love Gardens by the
Bay as much as the Botanic Gardens, The Straits Times reported. The Flower Dome
is currently open to the public from Nov 14 to 20, as part of the ongoing World
Orchid Show.

also stopped to admire the butterfly orchids which were on display as part of
the World Orchid Show.
