AUTOBOTS, roll out! The world's first Transformers theme park ride opens
in Asia at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) on Dec 3 in time for the school

Transformers fans and theme park lovers turned up in full force on opening day,
Dec 3, to be one of the first few to take the 3D ride, which is the first of
its kind based on the popular Hasbro franchise. Some had to wait for over two
hours to get on the four-minute thrill ride.
Guests were welcomed to Transfomers The Ride by a walking 2.9 metre tall
Optimus Prime character and a 2.3 metre tall Bumblebee, on opening day, Dec 3,
2011.

four-minute long thrill ride boasts hyper-realistic 3D scenes and takes guests
zipping through subway tunnels, down city streets and across rooftops, while
being chased by Decepticons. The ground-breaking visual effects were created
exclusively by Industrial Light & Magic, a division of Lucasfilm.
Fans turned up on opening day, Dec 3, to be one of the first in the world to
take the new Transformers ride.
