Tiger Airways Holdings (Tiger) said Tuesday that it is initiating the search for a managing director (MD) for Tiger Singapore to succeed outgoing MD Stewart Adams.
He will be leaving at the end of the year to pursue personal interests.
Tiger Group CEO Chin Yau Seng said Stewart had joined Tiger Singapore at an important stage in its growth.
"Since then, he has led his team through one of its most difficult periods, strengthened the airline's operations and brought it back on track to achieving profitable growth.
"I would like to thank Stewart for his dedicated service and contributions to Tiger," he said.
Mr Stewart Adams said he remains committed to Tiger Singapore, and will ensure that the airline is in fine shape when hand it over to his successor.
"My immediate focus is on achieving a successful and smooth relocation of Tiger Singapore's operations from the Budget Terminal to Changi Airport Terminal 2 come Sept 25.
"I will also ensure that there will be a seamless transition to the incoming MD," he said.
Mr Adams joined Tiger Singapore in January 2011.
