SINGAPORE: Visitors who wish to take a ride on the Singapore Flyer can now purchase their tickets on-the-go before arriving at the attraction.

"mTix" is a web app where visitors can purchase and receive mobile tickets for direct entry at the entrance of the observation wheel.

The mobile ticketing app is available on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Since its release in August, the app has received over 1,000 bookings.

The Singapore Flyer is the only local attraction that offers mobile booking of tickets and to celebrate its launch, all tickets purchased over the Singapore Flyer mobile ticketing web app are entitled to a 10 per cent discount.
