Tourists on Koh Samui warned of flash floods

In Pattaya, tourist boat operators have also been warned against leaving shore due to an incoming storm.

Surat Thani, Thailand - Local authorities Thursday warned people and tourists on Samui and Pha Ngan islands to beware of possible flash floods and landslide .
Small boats and speedboats also stopped going out to the sea.
Downpours hit many parts of Surat Thani since Wednesday.
Pattaya tourist boat operators warned against leaving shore
In the face of rough weather conditions, the Pattaya Sea Rescue Office is cautioning boat operators against bringing tourists onto island-hopping trips.
Red flags are now flying around Pattaya Bay.
Since yesterday morning, speedboats and ferries stopped taking tourists from mainland Pattaya to nearby Lan Island.
"A storm is clearly on the way," an official said.
