Have BMW, will fly by private jet

There is no need to worry about long immigration queues, how to navigate to your gate or if you are going to get stuck in the middle seat. Really, the only conundrum you might have will be: diced mushroom canapes or smoked salmon wrap?

Flying in an eight-seater Hawker 850XP is the latest sweetener in BMW agent Performance Motors' 7-series Privileges Programme (7PP), which has been in place since 2002 to pamper owners of the BMW flagship model.

Previously, owners could enjoy golfing in the Blue Canyon Resort in Phuket, Thailand, and a getaway in Perth, Australia, complete with the use of a yacht.

The latest revamp - called 7-series Privileges Programme Plus (7PPP) - adds personalised air travel to the list. It allows members to book the Hawker jet from executive charter company BJets at a subsidised rate.

Prices vary for different destinations. A two-way 11/2-hour trip for eight would cost about $45,000. BMW 7-series owners pay $35,000.

But what good is a jet if you still have to worry about where to go, what to do and where to stay? An exclusive and free concierge service is a telephone call away, helping 7PPP members organise a lavish holiday anywhere.

For those who do not have time for an extended retreat, a yacht can be booked for free for a morning breakfast cruise or a sunset sail around the Riau islands.

And if they would much rather have their feet planted on terra firma, Performance Motors offers free chauffeur services two days a year, a pick-up service when owners send their 7-series to the workshop and the use of any of the other BMW models two days a year.

There is also the opportunity to take part in the BMW Golf Cup International for amateurs and to join golf clinics at Tanah Merah Country Club.
