TAIPEI, Taiwan - Taiwan's tour bus drivers are highly appreciated by Chinese tourists, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Tourism Bureau.
The five winning agencies in the survey only come between the top 20 and 30 in terms of the amount of daily tours provided but their services were ranked in the top five by Chinese tourists in the questionnaires.
The five travel agencies are China Travel Service, South East Travel Service, Holiday Travel Service, Phoenix Tours and Wing On Travel.
According to the survey, Taiwan's tour bus drivers are well-liked because they always answer tourists' questions and do not honk at cars frequently.
Other categories that also received high scores include the tour guides service and the comfortable tour buses. To promote higher-quality tours, the ministry is proposing to allocate more Chinese tours to the top ten travel agencies ranked by the Chinese tourists.
