Our friends brought us to Little Fat Cow Hotpot (aka å°è¥ç) at Wan Chai, çå大éä¸ (beside Hopewell Building aka Hup Ho Zong Sum). It's veeery nice, tender, thinly sliced beef at a reasonable price. Hong
If you are not planning to gamble, you might run out of sightseeing spots pretty quickly. The city's main square, Largo do Senado, has many street hawkers whom you can visit to satisfy hunger pangs. You can also view pretty Portuguese architecture and cobblestone streets in the area. Macau also has good beaches. Hac Sa Beach on Coloane Island may be the best. The 4km black sand beach offers water activities such as water skiing and is also known for Lord Stow's Bakery, famous for its mouthwatering Portuguese egg tarts. For other typical Macau snacks such as a juicy pork chop bun, go to Cafe Tai Lei Loi Kei (Rua Direita Carlos Eugenio, Taipa). Go early to queue up - its popular buns are available only from 3 to 5pm.
