Is it advisable to travel to Orlando, USA in Nov/Dec? Is it too cold to travel there? - Tong Yuet Wai
A good time to vacation in Orlando is September or October. It's still very warm in these months. Another nice option is early December (about the first two weeks of the month). The theme parks are all decked out in their holiday decorations and holiday events but the crowds don't show up until the end of the month. Remember that hurricane season in Orlando runs from the start of June until November with the worst months being from late August until October. During this time it can be really humid and the time of the daily thunderstorm not as predictable as June's downpour. Staying during this time may mean losing a day due to severe weather or cancelled flights.

Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains of the United States. During winter you could ski and snow board there. I am going to the States for travel this winter. I'm afraid I would lose my luggage as I have heard of many of my friends losing theirs, especially during connecting flights . Any idea what I could do to avoid such misfortunates or what should I do if I lose my luggage?
I guess it would be important to 'tag' your bags outside AND leave identification within your luggage. However, in an event that you do lose your luggage, do not expect immediate action as most airlines consider your luggage lost only within 7 days! Both domestic and international carriers do reimburse you for items purchased while waiting for your luggage. The amount varies though. One thing to note, Atlantic Southeast Airlines had the worst record of mishandling 10.54 bags per 1000!! so be extra careful should you take that airline!
I get very stressed when I go on business trips. I would want to enjoy myself and relax. Any Spa recommendations in the USA ?
there's this SPA in Boston - Emerge Day Spa. Its more of a modern day spa with flat-screen Televisions. You try their famous Thalasso Kur- abody wrap, mineral bath and massage. check out their website at www.emergespasalon.com Another place you could check out if you are in LA would be Intercontinental century City. Their spas are conducted in PRIVATE VILLAS! ultimate sensational experience I would say. It probably costs about 190 USD. www.intercontinentallosangeles.com

There is a really high risk of losing your luggage these days especially when you are travelling in the States! For me, unless its non important documents(ie clothes, shoes) , I would prefer not to check them in. You should always get travel insurance and the standard ones usually do cover lost or delayed luggage. However, the extent to which it covers the loss, would depend largely on the fine print stated on the contract so do take note!!

The best and most expensive spa i've been to in the states has got to be Qua Baths & Spa! It is water themed and i tried the treatment- SLeep Health; massage followed by a hypnotherapy session. Though it cost me $280 usd, it was worth every cent! Caesar's palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd quabathsandspa.com
