Everyone usually goes to the north of taiwan where Taipei city lies. However, I would like to recommend Southern Taiwan which includes Kaoshiung, Chiayi, Tainan and Pintung. In addition, I want to highly recommend Ren Sheng Holiday Resort is located in the middle of the Alishan Scenic Area. The resort has wooden cabins which house groups of between 2-18 travellers. I really enjoyed my
stay
there. I loved the scenic open-air observatory, where you can enjoy a cup of unique forest coffee during the day, or gaze at the stars at night. It is also just a short drive away from Rueili and Taiping Scenic Areas.

My husband and I plan to take our six-year-old daughter to New Zealand for a holiday in June or December. Please recommend some reasonably priced places we can

at. - Vivienne Su
In Auckland on the North Island, the Quality Inn Westend (www.qualityinnwestend.co.nz) is close to the Auckland Zoo and just a short bus ride from the city centre. It has a heated indoor pool and a children's play area, as well as a babysitting service at the hotel, if you and your husband want a breather to spend some couple time together. Its one-bedroom apartments come with cooking facilities and a balcony. Rates start from NZ$129 (S$129). In Christchurch on the South Island, try the Best Western Camelot Apartments & Motels in Papanui Road (www.camelot.co.nz/). This unique castle-like place is located in the middle of the city and has a swimming pool, a children's playground and Wi-Fi connectivity. Nearby is a range of restaurants that sell child-friendly food such as fish and chips, and pizza. Its rooms are spacious enough for families with children. They range from large bedroom suites to two-storey apartments with two bedrooms. Prices start from NZ$127. For more kid-friendly places, visit www.kidzgo.co.nz

Central Taiwan has many National parks and scenic area. The most famous being the Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area in the Nantou County, where the Sun Moon Lake is located. Nantou is famous for sights such as Yushan, Taiwan's high peak and the Lushan Hot Springs. If you want to learn about the taiwan's cultural history, visit the Tri-Mountain Scenic Area in Taichung County. The town of lugang in Changhua County, boasts of old temples and traditional crafts.

There is another hotel which I would like to recommend in the area is, Mho Dar Pozana. It is located in the midst of the mountain peaks near the Alishan scenic area. Rooms for between two to eight people, and is surrounded by picturesque gardens and lush forests, making it ideal for weary urbanites looking for a fuss-free getaway. A few must visits are Fushan Historic Trail, Husband and Wife tree, Dinghu nature park and Fencihu. http://xianyu.ho.net.tw

If you are travelling with your loved one, do take a cruise down Kaoshiung City's Lover River or a leisurely bike ride at Cijin's ocean park. The local seafood there is really good too!! You could visit Chiayi County - Fencihu Scenic Area is really beautiful and this county boasts a cool spring weather all year round! Kenting National park is not to be missed if you enjoy sea sports like surfing and water-skiing.
I
stay
in Singapore and I want to try going for a ski holiday, but to go to the Alps in France or to Switzerland is going to cost a bomb. Where's good for skiing in Asia?
Yes, there are great ski resorts in Asia. Contrary to the popular belief, skiing = snow = only in European countries. In Korea, Yongpyong Resort is the most popular ski resort there. It is well known holding several successful international events, such as the World Cup Ski Contest and Winter Asian Games. If you travel to Seoul, Seoul Resort is the closest ski resort to Seoul. The rental fees for the lifts can go up to 43,000won (S$47) for adults, cheapest being 30,000 won (S$33). For children, expect rental prices from 9,500won (S$9) to 14,000won (S$15).

I think that Japan will be a good place for skiing, it has a LOT of ski resorts. But the difficult thing would be to know which are the better ones unless u trust reviews or go experience it yourself. The runs @ zao ski resort are really huge and most trails were nicely groomed. I believe an all day pace runs about US $45. There are also plenty of eating places both on and off the slopes & frequent public transportation. I highly recommend this wonderful resort. But remember to bring your goggles; the weather at Zao is usually very windy and snowy.

Hi there I am looking for accomodation in Dubai. Probably an apartment or house to rent in June/July this year for 2 adults and 2 kids. Thanks!
Many Dubai Companies offer apartments for short and long term rental purposes you can search for them. During my visit I stayed with http://www.mydubaistay.com. They have apartments all across Dubai. I stayed at Palm Jumeirah apartment. Far less cheaper than Dubai Hotel plus you get to enjoy more space and privacy. Best of luck!

Hi, I'm not sure whether you intend to go for short-term rental or a long-term one. For apartment rental, you can try to recce for apartments at Dubai Marina. The name of the building is Marina Heights. Or you can rent an apartment from Jumeirah Beach Residence if you would like to wake up to a fabulous sea and marina view.
