Limited special assistance offered for Jetstar Flyers
I am totally disappointed with Jetstar reservations. My mother in law was visiting Singapore for the very first time last July from Bangkok. I had called up to reserve for a wheelchair a few weeks before her arrival since she could only walk a short distance. I was told that there will be NO EXTRA COST over the telephone beside the total cost of the ticket I paid. To my amasement, at the Bangkok Airport on her flight schedule date, Jetstar claimed that I need to pay for the wheelchair. I have no choice due to my limited Thai language but to pay. Similarly, on her flight back from Changi Airport, I was told to pay again: stating that it is a Jetstar airport ground policy. To summarize, I was paying for the cost of the ticket and 2 wheelchair assistance from Jetstar all because of the ignorance of the Jetstar reservation staff and the phase "Limited special assistance from Jetstar". It is NOT cheap to fly on this budget airline anymore.
