I usually heard that shopping in Johor Bahru is much more cheaper than shopping locally. However, I've only been there to shop once in a blue moon and I do not know of any updates of the place or any new shopping centres in JB. Where's good to shop in JB?

Holiday Plaza

VCDs, DVDs, Music CDs and Computer Softwares are abundant in Holiday Plaza.

There are a few good hairdressing salons on the 4th level.

Holiday Plaza is the first shopping centre built in Johor Bahru town. Although this place is considered an "old" place, it still attracts many shoppers.

Tebrau City: Biggest and Best Shopping Mall in JB

rate [ 5 ]

Tebrau City is the biggest and newest shopping mall in JB.

If you like shopping, there's G2000, MNG, Giordano, MAC, Esprit.

If you don't like branded goods, there are other other smaller names or unknown brands - yet they are great buys.

If you like food, there's Japanese, Macau, Hong Kong, Italian, American, other than Malaysian food of course.

If you're looking for books and stationery, Harris has a great range! It is like another version of Popular.

If you plan to catch a movie at a cheaper price (as compared to Sg), there's also the newest TGV cinema there.

Not to mention, the huge Jusco.

Great place for families, couples, friends outing... child friendly.

Depends what you are going to buy, perhaps RM 300-RM 500 (S$125-S$205) if you're on a shopping spree?
